As you look at our products, you will notice that many of our designs are inspired by nature, as well as by the important and intimate events we share and that connect us as humans. You will find cards depicting plants, flowers, animals, and sea life. There are also those that celebrate friendships, marriages and babies, and that express our love and gratitude. Clearly, our relationship with nature is essential, not only as a platform to celebrate, but more importantly, for our existence.

Jonathan Wright and Company is committed to bringing forth an environmentally sustainable presence as a guiding principle for our time. By no means are we holding ourselves up as an example of perfection, but we would like our clients to know that we are making significant efforts to help improve our world.

Green Power
We are offsetting our use of coal generated energy with an equal amount of cleaner hydro and solar energy by joining the Green Power Program with the Los Angeles Department of Water and Power.

Planting Trees
Jonathan Wright & Company plants a tree with Americanforests.org for every custom, internet or wholesale order placed. Trees help to filter water, sequester carbon and provide homes for wildlife.

Recycling
We have instituted a recycling program for our business and added a recycling service for our facility.

Recycled Content
Look for the tree symbol on this site for more detailed information about the recycled content of our products. We are working to transition the majority of our papers to a higher recycled content, though most are already 50% recycled, with a minimum of 30% post-consumer fiber. We also have switched the paper for our printed catalogues to brands made with 100% post-consumer fiber, wind power, and processed chlorine free.

Soy Ink
All of our in-house letterpress inks are now soy oil based, which is more sustainable than the other exotic wood oils.

Made in the United States
By printing and manufacturing all of our merchandise domestically, we do not expend the extra resources required when shipping from overseas.
